Parenting Classes
Be a facilitator or co-facilitator (buddy up)
Classes are 7-week courses (day and time chosen by facilitator)
Parents learn: understanding behavior, alternatives to punishment, communication, building self-esteem

Mentoring (Casework)
Work one-on-one with a family (change their life and enrich yours in the process).
Weekly in-home visits to parents “at risk” of abuse or neglect (families referred by schools, self, courts, CPS)

Auxiliary Board
Not into direct service? The Auxiliary Board may be the place for you to contribute to your community. The mission of the board is to organize a Bowl-a-thon fundraiser once a year and to spread the word about Family Outreach. Meetings are in the evening.
