Auxiliary Board
On September 29, 2008 the newly formed Auxiliary Board met for the first time with ten community members. This board will spearhead a fundraiser for Family Outreach in the coming year and it is an exciting development for the agency.

City of Plano
City of Plano awarded a $10,000 Buffington Community Services grant for October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009 to be used for the Mentoring/Casework program.

International Women's Club
International Women's Club selected Family Outreach as their charity recipient for the 2008-2009 club year.

Garage Sale
Thrivent Financial Services matched funds raised by 50%. Plano Junior League provided crafts for the children during the sale and Starbucks provided free coffee.

Family Outreach Receives Grant!
Northwood Women’s Club selected Family Outreach as their charity recipient for May 2009. This substantial grant will further the work of our casework/mentoring program for families.

Wentworth Estates Women’s Club selected Family Outreach as their recipient for their auction in the spring.
